H&M dress code
The H&M dress code is casual, but it focuses on being trendy and current. Typically, employees are advised to wear whatever they feel comfortable in that reflects their personal style but should make sure to follow some basic rules.
You should not wear anything that is athletic wear, leggings, or that has logos from any other store. You also need to make sure that your clothes are not excessively distressed or revealing. You also should not have any underwear visible. Other than that, Hamp;M wants you to focus on expressing yourself and your own personal style.
While you can wear many different things, Hamp;M does ask that you try to match your style to what is currently being sold in stores. Because of this, it can be a good idea to wear things that are from Hamp;M when you are working. That way, you can promote the brand and you know that you are dressing in a way that is matching the store.
If any issues arise, management may come to speak to you about your dress and appearance. They may choose to send you home from your shift, or simply discuss what needs to change. If this is a continual occurrence, this could lead to termination of employment.
