How do budtenders pay taxes?
Budtenders are responsible for paying their taxes just like any other employee, reporting their income and paying the applicable taxes at the federal, state, and local levels. The tax rate will vary depending on the amount of income earned and the state in which the budtender works.
Budtenders and other people working in the cannabis industry should be paid through proper channels, in much the same way as professionals in other sectors do.
