This question is about media specialist resumes.
You write a CV for a media job by highlighting your educational credentials, skills, and experience. You want to do this in a way that not only demonstrates your qualifications but is also organized and attention-grabbing.
To get started, just after your contact information, you should include a profile summary, which is a brief introduction that summarizes your skills, experience, and qualifications; tailored to the target role. Highlight your education, major achievements, and core skills in no more than four sentences.
For example, "Highly skillsets media marketing specialists with 3+ years experience on a fast-paced content team. Increased Facebook conversion rate by 35% with new copywriting strategy."
Next, summarize your relevant experience to date, briefly touching upon the hard skills used, industries worked in, and types of companies worked for. For junior candidates with little experience, voluntary roles, freelance work, placements, and personal projects can be used.
For example, "Attended local events to capture footage and edited 1-minute shorts using Adobe Premier Pro."
Create a section for educational credentials. Be sure to include information such as Year of completion or expected completion (no starting dates), degree type, major and minors (if applicable), department and institution, honors and awards, dissertation/thesis title, and advisor.
Additional but optional sections for your medical resume include publications, books, peer-reviewed journal articles, awards and honors, grants and fellowships, conferences, and teaching experience.
Top skills to include on a media CV include:
Sound and lighting production
Photography & video
Post-production & editing
Ability to edit images, video, and sound, with competency with all major software.
Research
Interviewing
