How long does the A+ certification last?

By Zippia Team - Dec. 9, 2022

A+ certification lasts three years after you have passed your examinations. After those three years are completed, you need to complete some continuing education through CompTIA if you want to renew your license. Continuing education includes completing at least 20 hours of coursework.

A+ certification has a fee that must be paid yearly to stay valid. The cost is $25. Should you choose to, you can pay all three years at the completion of your continuing education for $75. Each time you renew your certification, it is valid for three years and then requires 20 hours of continued education for renewal.
