CIA training can be completed in 18 months. Those seeking to become CIA agents must meet the requirements for the Clandestine Service and Professional Trainee Programs.
The Professional Trainee (PT) Program for aspiring CIA agents:

The PT program is designed for individuals who have a bachelor's degree. It does not require any specific work experience. Most candidates for the PT program fall in the age range of between 21 and 25 years old.
The Clandestine Service (CST) Program:

The CST program is designed for those with a bachelor's degree, as well as several years of business and/or military working experience. Most candidates for the CST program fall in the age range of between 26 and 35 years old.

Being at least 18 years old
Holding a bachelor's degree (with a minimum GPA of 3.0)
Having strong interpersonal skills
Having a strong interest in international affairs and global politics
Being able to write clearly, accurately, and communicate verbally well
The CIA also lists the following as preferred qualifications for CIA training:
Experience of traveling abroad and foreign lands knowledge
Experience living and working abroad
A sensitivity to other countries' cultures
Foreign language proficiency (at least one, multiple preferred)
