How long is Home Depot orientation?

By Zippia Team - Aug. 22, 2022

Home Depot's orientation is typically four hours a day. It's a four-hour orientation time for all sales associate positions. Warehouse, sales, and management positions typically have a three-day orientation that includes more in-depth training scenarios and orientation videos.

During the orientation, a newly hired retail assistant will learn a variety of things such as how to clock in/out, use the pos system, handle customer issues, and more. The orientation also includes an hour-long tour around the store. Depending on the position, you may be asked to do a total of ten to 15 hours worth of training videos broken down into several four-hour shifts.
