This question is about us marine certifications.
Marine basic training is approximately 13 weeks. The first week of training is a week of preparation for the following twelve weeks. Marine basic training is broken up into four separate phases.
Phase One of basic training lasts four weeks and is often understood as a "traditional boot camp." They begin to take classes and have many different physical trials to be met and overcome. There are also many drills and even a week focused on swimming.
Phase two focuses on teamwork. This includes learning to complete many household tasks, practicing shooting and working in the grass, and working on shooting and firing. Phase three has basic warrior training, which includes survival skills. It also includes testing week during week 9, which will help gauge the progress of the Marines.
Phase three ends with the Crucible, which is a 54-hour test that includes many different aspects to be tested on. Successful completion of the Crucible takes someone from a recruit to a Marine. Phase Four includes the last steps before graduation, such as family day, inspection, and graduation.
