A 15-year-old in Michigan can work and attend school for a combined total of 48 hours per workweek. While most schools in Michigan have 30 hours of school per week, this gives 15-year-olds 18 hours free to work each week. During weeks when school is not in session, such as summer break, they can work 48 hours.

There are also hour restrictions for 15-year-olds in Michigan. They may not work before 6 AM or after 9 PM. Along with that restriction, they are also limited to working under 10 hours per day and cannot work more than six days a week, regardless of the hours worked.
