Minor league baseball players make around $4,800 per year in rookie ball and around $14,000 per year in Triple-A.

The minimum salary of a player at the rookie level is $400 weekly, $500 for a player in Class A, $600 for a player in Double-A, and $700 for a player in Triple-A.

Minor league players drafted into the Triple-A league can also receive sign-on bonuses of $20,000 or more. First-round picks, however, can receive extremely high sign-on bonuses. First-round picks in the minor league of 2021 received $79,220 to $1.8 million, and players among the top 75 picks received sign-on bonuses of at least $747,500.
