An optometrist holds a Doctor of Optometry degree, and most of these programs cost $10,000-$25,000 per year. In total, this tuition costs anywhere from $40,000 to $100,000. This does not include the costs of an undergraduate degree that must be completed before you can begin a doctorate program.
