You have to be 16 years of age or older to work at Portillo's Hot Dogs. The type of positions available will depend on your age.
Positions at Portillo's Hot Dogs that you can apply for if you're between the ages of 16 and 17 years old are;
Cashier -Greets our guests with a smile, quickly and accurately records their order, and takes payment. Inside and outside (Drive-Up) positions are available.
Order Taker -Greets our guests with a smile, quickly and accurately records their order while guests are in the cashier's line.
Food Production Support Staff Positions
If you're interested in working as an expeditor, customer service representative, or shift leader position, then you will need to be at least 18 years of age. For catering and take-out positions, you must be at least 21 years old.
