How safe is Zoom?
Zoom is generally safe today, but experts found some issues when the communication software was seriously blowing up.
Firstly, Zoom's end-to-end wasn't as thorough as people originally thought. Other Zoom meeting attendees could see a lot of information about other people in the meeting. It was common for outsiders to gain access to a private/professional Zoom meeting and join in to play pranks or show rude content.
Additionally, Zoom's privacy policies give the company authority to use its users' data in any way they please. However, many corporations implement this policy.
While there were a few bugs to work out with Zoom's safety and security, it is much better in 2022. It's only an issue if you plan on using Zoom to disclose secure information, like medical results or government secrets. For the average user, Zoom is very safe.
