This question is about behavioral analyst.
You will need to complete the proper education, complete the BCBA exam, and apply for licensure in order to become a board-certified behavior analyst (BCBA). To begin with, you will need to hold a bachelor's degree in a related field, such as psychology. Education will not stop there, as BCBAs will hold graduate degrees.
To become a BCBA, you must complete graduate studies that meet coursework requirements set by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). Part of this coursework will be classroom instruction, and it will also include required supervised fieldwork.
Once you have completed your graduate degree, it is time to take the BCBA exam. You will need to apply for the exam, verify that you have met these educational requirements, and pay the fee, which includes a $245 registration fee and $125 each time you take the exam.
After passing the exam, you can then apply for state licensure in whichever state you will be passing. Then, you may begin working. Throughout your career, you will need to renew your license and certification, and this will require continued education.
