This question is about employer.
To extend your Zoom meeting time, click on 'Manage Participants' at the bottom of your screen and select 'Extend Meeting.' This requires a paid plan, however, which allows you the option to extend a meeting beyond 40 minutes.
Extending your Zoom meeting time would allow you to have more time to discuss topics or questions with your attendees. It could also give you the chance to go into more detail on certain topics and ensure everyone has a chance to participate. Additionally, extending your Zoom meeting may help foster better collaboration and engagement among meeting attendees.
If you don't want to pay the $18.99 a month or $150 a year for a Zoom paid account, then there are a few workarounds you can try.
Here's how you can bypass the 40-minute time limit on Zoom without a subscription:
Method 1
Schedule your meeting in the Zoom client.
When the meeting is about to reach 40 minutes, there will be a timer indicating the discussion is about to end. The host should then click 'Leave Meeting'. They should not select 'End for All.' After the host leaves, everyone else should leave as well.
4. Everyone should rejoin using the link sent in the original invite. The timer will then restart a new 40-minute limit.
