It is a job that is frequently underestimated in terms of the amount of physical labor required to do it.

Housekeeping is also made difficult by the fact that it is often, sadly, a thankless job. Homeowners can sometimes take their housekeepers for granted and demand more services than what is reasonable to provide in the allotted time. Many housekeepers have to work more than 40 hours a week in order to make ends meet.
