What are Research Projects?

Research Projects are organized endeavours to try and understand a subject, to test a theory or an idea, to elaborate on an idea, to learn or discover something new, or to present certain information in a comprehensible way. One will find this most often in academic and scientific fields and environments and there are many types of research within those areas alone but there are also many other types of projects outside of this scope, too.
