Using the Zippia database of several million resume, job, and salary records from various sources including the BLS, Census, and H1B visas, we were able to identify the most common professions in Washington.

We started from a set of over 10,000 job titles and narrowed it down to the job titles with the most observations in Washington, DC. We ordered them from the most to least with the job title having the largest number of observations being the most common jobs.
