This question is about certified nursing assistant education.
You need a high school diploma to be a CNA. However, you will also need to obtain a certification through an accredited CNA program.
An individual must initially have a high school diploma or GED to pursue the path of a CNA. Once these things are completed you are able to enroll in a CNA program that is approved by the National League for Nursing Accredited Commission (NLNAC).
CNA programs typically include a set amount of classroom hours, in addition to a minimum number of clinical hours.
