You need a bachelor's degree in HR management to be an HR generalist.

HR generalists are expected to hold a bachelor's degree in human resources or a related area. This degree includes collaborative work, critical thinking skills, and problem-solving. Some candidates will further pursue a master's degree, which can enhance their opportunities to obtain higher-paying positions.
