This question is about what a programmer does.

What do entry-level programmers do?

By Kate Swindlehurst - Jun. 13, 2023

Entry-level programmers work closely with their team leads, take ownership of parts of a project, and complete and submit write-ups of their findings. Most programmers before beginning work, have completed at least a bachelor's degree program as well as some internships.

Entry-level programmers work under the direction of a team lead, which is typically just a senior programmer. The senior programmer often assigns parts of an overall project to the entry-level programmer. From there, entry-level programmers complete the tasks and then report to the senior programmer.

A large part of their work includes submitting write-ups of any of their findings that are found during their work. This is something all programmersneed to do, but entry-level ones are also doing this to ensure that they are completing their process correctly, so they must submit their write-ups to their team leads.
