What if I don't know my weaknesses?

If you don't know your weaknesses you can:

• Self reflect. Take some time to think about your past professional or educational experiences. Where did you face the most challenges? Are there any reoccurring incidents that can be attributed to a common cause?

• Ask others. This can be tough, but very helpful. Ask those who know your well, such as friends, family, or former coworkers, and explain to them the situation. Let them know you are trying to prepare for this interview question. By giving them this context, they will be able to phrase what they think your weaknesses are in a helpful manner.
