What is a benchmark job?
A benchmark job is a job within an organization that is used as a reference point for comparing other jobs within the same organization or industry. Also known as key jobs, benchmark jobs are positions that remain consistent across the industry in terms of salary, responsibilities, and seniority and can therefore be compared from organization to organization
