HR professionals with several years of experience are the key audience for this certification. Compensation specialists who want to advance may also be interested in this certification. CCP certifications do not require continued examinations. However, you do need to stay within the industry to continue to prove your skills.

The cost of a CCP certification depends on the candidate's membership level with WorldatWork.It also depends on which method of instruction is chosen.

Traditional courses before examination cost $2,200 for nonmembers and $1,495 for members. Self-study with materials costs $1,780 for nonmembers and $1.275 for members. Self-study without materials, meaning you navigate information independently, only costs $500 regardless of membership.

Considering that there are ten total exams and the costs listed above are per exam, it can cost a candidate anywhere between $5,000 and $15,000 to obtain a CCP certification. It can take several years to complete this certification, depending on how quickly you study and complete each exam.
