What is a closing expert at Target?
A closing expert at Target is an employee who consistently executes closing routines to deliver a clean and organized store. They support business area teams in completing closing tasks as dictated by daily priorities and guest traffic.
This position will provide associates with the knowledge of guest service fundamentals and experience in building and fostering a guest-first culture across the store. Typical daily duties include:
Execute closing routines
Clean and organize the store
Support other teams in completing closing tasks
Support consistency in closing experience and routines
Work cross-functionally to ensure the sales floor is full, zoned, and in stock for guests
The scheduling usually consists of five shifts from Monday to Friday or Sunday to Thursday. The average pay for a closing expert is $23 per hour.
