What is a fleet safety certification?
A fleet safety certification is a certification in fleet driving or management that proves that an individual has skills in defensive driving, understanding the dangers of driving, and identifying risky behaviors. The National Association of Fleet Administrators (NAFA) administers the fleet safety certification.
Becoming fleet safety certified involves completing training led by a fleet trainer. You are then required to pass any relevant exams. During the training, you will be instructed to abide by industry standards and procedures. There are five fleet safety certifications:
OSHA Fleet Safety Certification
National Association of Fleet Administrators Certification
Drivesafe Online Certification
NSC Defensive Driving Certification
NTSI Certification
