What is a Home Depot sales specialist?

Home Depot Sale Specialist jobs are assigned to an area of the store, such as appliance, bath, flooring, or paint, and are the experts placed to help customers make their decisions. Sales specialists answer questions, provide information, and are encouraged to sell extended service protection plans.

They maintain the areas in which they work and properly greet and interact with customers in their area of the store. The role is 50% customer service and 50% sales. It requires excellent communication skills and preferably two years in outside sales skills.
