What is a production worker?
A production worker is a professional that works for a company that manufactures products. Production workers spend their days in a factory ensuring that the production process is running optimally. They might participate in the manufacturing of any number of different types of products, depending on what industry their organization is in.
Production workers are also sometimes referred to as assembly line workers. This is most common when they work alongside other production workers in an assembly line and/or with the use of a conveyor belt. Production workers can also work independently in the factory setting by having their own station dedicated to the construction of specific parts.
