Phone calls and emails to current clients are necessary to set fitting appointments while contacting potential clients is required to ensure profitability.

Designers who own their shops must also deal with employees, insurance, and advertising. The tradeoff for all of this responsibility is the creative freedom to create clothing collections that represent their point of view.
