Salesforce automation refers to a company using computer software to automate one or more of its sales processes. Automation used in this way can dramatically increase the efficiency with which a company interacts with its customers.

When that email is opened, a second automated correspondence is sent. If the initial email is not opened in a designated period of time, an alternate correspondence is forwarded. The system would also generate a list of sales representatives of potential customers that had opened or responded to either email.
