What is the career path for a CFO?
The career path for a chief financial advisor (CFO) includes jobs as an accountant, finance manager, and chief financial officer. Before beginning work, chief financial advisors generally complete at least a bachelor's degree in finance or a related field. Additional education is required as they move up their career path.
