What is the dress code at Best Buy?
The dress code at Best Buy is a uniform consisting of a collared blue Best Buy shirt and work-appropriate slacks. Best Buy's store employees are known for their blue shirts, which have been the standard dress code since 1989.
The original dress code paired the blue shirt with khaki pants; in 2013, this was changed to black pants (or skirts). The blue polo shirts can be worn tucked or untucked, but belts must be worn when shirts are tucked.
As of 2019, employees are allowed to wear blue jeans, so long as they are in good shape, with no rips, tears, or distressing. Best Buy employees can wear the shoes of their preference, as long as they are in good condition, with a closed toe and no heel.
The Geek Squad uniform is basically the same, except that the shirt is the black Geek Squad polo. Employees in the Geek Squad Agent role are required to wear white collared shirts, black ties, and dress pants.
