What is the dress code at Fred Meyer?

Hair must be pulled back and hair nets must be worn at all times if you are working in the deli, meat, or seafood departments. In some locations, acrylic nails are not allowed.

For management positions in the store locations, the dress code is business professional.

For corporate headquarter and regional positions, the dress code is business casual.

Examples of appropriate business casual clothing:

• Polo or other collared shirts

• Sweaters

• Dress pants (khakis, twill)

• Knee-length skirts or dresses

• Cardigans

• Blazers

• Closed-toed shoes

• Dress sandals

Jeans may be allowed in some settings, but this will be dependent on the position and location. Jeans should be dressy and not ripped, torn, or disheveled.

Examples of appropriate business professional clothing:

• Pressed slacks, skirts, or dresses

• Pressed button down shirts or blouses

• Flats, pumps, or heels (less than three inches high)

• Oxfords or loafers

• Minimal jewelry

• Simple ties (steer away from bold colors and patterns)

For all areas of the company, the following are not allowed:

• Excessive piercings or septum piercings (must be covered or removed while on duty)

• Visible branding

• Graphic tees

• Tattoos that are graphic or offensive (must be covered while on duty)
