What is the GM brand hierarchy?

General Motors' (GM) brand hierarchy goes from basic to luxury. At the bottom of the hierarchy is Chevrolet. Then you have GM, Buick, and Cadillac at the highest end of the hierarchy.

Typically, the GM hierarchy goes from basic to luxurious and from the lowest to the highest prices. This is not to say that every Chevrolet is cheaper than a Cadillac.

There are many different cars and levels of cars in each of these hierarchies. There are some nice, luxurious cars in all of these brands, but there is a typical hierarchy structural GM follows.
