What is the hiring process at Keyence?

After submitting your application, you will get a link to online assessments specific to the position that you're applying for. This online assessment is used to narrow down candidates based on test performance. These tests show whether candidates have the desired personality and skills for work at Keyence. The following tests tend to be used by Keyence:

• Bennett Mechanical Comprehension Test (BMCT): The current version has fifty-five questions and a twenty-five-minute time limit and is focused on your ability to solve problems under a time constraint.

• Caliper Test: examines your personality using multiple-choice, true/false, and strongly agree/strongly disagree questions. It shows the strengths and weaknesses of a potential candidate.

Depending on the position, you may be asked to complete a video interview. The video interview involves you setting up a webcam and answering automated questions given a set amount of time.

For example, the video interview may ask you questions like why do you want to work at Keyence or what are your greatest strengths and weaknesses. You will be given up to five minutes to answer each question, which is recorded.

After that, if Keyence likes what they see, they will invite you to come in for a series of on-site interviews.
