What is the hiring process at Lionbridge?

The first interview you will have is with a human resources manager. This covers general information about your translation experience and background. It also touches on behavioral and scenario-based questions.

Here are some sample questions for your interview with Lionbridge:

• Have you had projects that didn't go well? How did you manage it?

• How would you describe a certain internet ad? (In a specific language)

• Which description best applies to the context of the image? (An example is given to answer this question)

After this initial interview, you may be asked to take a company-designed translation assessment test to determine if you are a good fit for the role. This test may be given in person or online.

An English assessment test is also required for candidates for certain roles.

The next and final interview is with a hiring manager at Lionbridge. If you've made it this far, the role is almost certainly yours. This interview is more of a formality that follows up on how you performed on the tests you have taken.

If you've scored poorly on these tests, you will not be contacted for this interview. There is also a discussion about the Lionsbridge guidelines and other company information.

The company requests all new hires to take a drug test before being officially employed.

The entire hiring process takes, on average, between one to two weeks.
