This question is about Polaris and Polaris jobs.
The hiring process at Polaris Industries varies by position and usually takes several weeks due to the drug testing and background checks that are required.
There are three basic steps to the hiring process at Polaris Industries:
Application: Prospective employees are encouraged to explore the Polaris Industries careers webpage for information on Polaris Industries' business, culture, and available jobs.
To apply, you will be prompted to create an online profile via Workday if you don't already have one. Once you have signed up, you will be able to submit your application, as well as update your profile, apply for jobs, and monitor your application status using the online portal.
Pre-screening text messages or assessments may be sent to you, or you will be contacted by a member of the internal recruitment team regarding the next steps.
Please note that full COVID-19 vaccination may be a condition of employment depending on the role and location of the job. If you have concerns, please discuss this with a member of the internal recruitment team.
Interview: If your skills seem to be a match for the role, you will be contacted to set up a phone interview to discuss the role in greater detail and ask any questions you have. If the recruitment team feels that you are a good fit, you will move on to the next stage of interviews.
The next interview will be with the hiring manager, and will usually be a phone call. After the phone interview, you will have at least one (usually two) panel interviews.
The panel interviews usually take place with the hiring manager and at least one team member who is currently working in the role you have applied for or is at a similar level. This interview involves scenario-based questions to gauge your personality and experience in past roles.
Typical interview questions include:
Tell us about a time you experienced a setback. How did you overcome it?
What are your greatest strengths/weaknesses?
Tell me something about yourself that isn't on your resume.
What is your leadership style?
How would you handle conflict in the workplace?
How do you motivate others?
Offer and Onboarding: If you are selected for the role, a member of the internal recruitment team will contact you to review the offer letter details, benefits, and more information on your new career at Polaris Industries.
Once you have accepted an offer, you will be asked to complete forms and start the pre-onboarding process. You will also be required to submit a drug test and background check. The internal recruitment team member will provide you with more detailed information on how to complete these steps.
