What is the hiring process at Relativity Space?

1. Application: Prospective employees are encouraged to explore the Relativity Space careers webpage for information on Relativity Space's business, culture, and available jobs.

   When you apply for a job, you will be prompted to fill out an online application form including a resume and optional cover letter. The application will also require you to include a write-up about "why Space is a passion for you".

   Pre-screening text messages or assessments may be sent to you; otherwise, you will be contacted by a member of the internal recruitment team regarding next steps.

   Please note that full COVID-19 vaccination may be a condition of employment depending on the role and location of the job. If you have concerns, please discuss this with a member of the internal recruitment team.

2. Interview: If your skills seem to be a match for the role, you will be contacted to set up a phone interview.

   During the phone interview, you will discuss the role in greater detail and get to ask any questions you have regarding the role and/or the company. If you are still interested and the recruitment team feels that you are a good fit, you will move on to the panel interview.

   The panel interview usually takes place with the hiring manager and at least one team member who is currently working in the role you have applied for or is at a similar level. This interview tends to involve a lot of scenario-based questions in order to gauge your personality and experiences in past roles.

   Typical interview questions include:

   • What accomplishments are you most proud of?

   • What are your strengths/weaknesses?

   • How well do you work with others?

   • How do you handle a difficult personality?

   • Tell me about a project you have worked on.

3. Offer and Onboarding: If you are selected for the role, a member of the internal recruitment team will contact you to review the offer letter details, benefits, and more information on your new career at Relativity Space.

   Once you have accepted an offer, you will be asked to complete forms and start the pre-onboarding process. You will also be required to submit for a background check. The internal recruitment team member will provide you with more detailed information on how to complete these steps.

Use the interview to showcase your past experiences and demonstrate that you have the skills to succeed at Relativity Space.

Prior to your interview, do your best to research current employees in the company using tools like LinkedIn. Try to get a feel for the culture and the day-to-day tasks of the employees who are actually doing the work you are looking for.
