The hiring process at The Stepping Stones Group varies by position and usually takes one to two weeks from start to finish. If you are applying for a position and are deemed a good fit, you will be contacted for a phone screening to determine the location and caseload that you are looking for.
After the phone screening, there will be a second phone interview to assess your skills and experience.
If it still appears to be a good fit, you will be brought in for an interview directly with the district. A second in-person interview may also be required.
If you are offered a position and accept it, you will have to go through a credentialing process that includes:
License verification
Credential verification
Tuberculosis test
Livescan (fingerprinting)
Drug test
Background check
Many current and past employees have reported that the interview process was relatively easy. However, it is important that you show that you have good communication skills. Previous childcare or caregiver experience is preferred.
