What should be included in a business management resume?

This statement should touch on your background and experience, as well as touch on some of your strongest skills. For example, "Quality-focused management professional with over 15 years of combined experience in general business operations, software development, project management, and financial administration".

The experience section should further elaborate on your core skills as a business manager. It should consist of three to six bullet points for each job listed. Similar to the profile summary, you should focus on using action verbs, focus on key skills, and use quantifiable measurements of success whenever possible.

For example, "Slashed costs 18% through creating a businesswide idea program that generated 250,000 employee ideas per year and implemented 100,000 of them".

Finally, when deciding on what skills to cover in your business management resume, it's a good idea to also focus on the skills mentioned in the job posting.

For example, If the employer is looking for someone who is highly organized with good time management skills (and this applies to you), then you should focus on these skills when talking about your previous work experience and qualifications.
