The National Cancer Registrars Association (NCRA) sponsors the Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR) certification. It first started offering this certification in 1983, and over 9,000 registry professionals have earned the CTR certification since then. Currently, there are over 5,700 CTR certification holders worldwide.
