Who hires manufacturers?

There are many different companies that hire manufacturers. Manufacturing is the making of articles on a large scale using machinery. It is industrial production. This is an extremely widespread industry, and almost every large business that creates a product needs manufacturers at some point in their business process.

Some companies, especially smaller companies, first hire different manufacturing companies to source out their manufacturing needs. Larger companies have manufacturers on their payroll as part of their company.
