A brand ambassador performs their main job in the social media space. Their job consists of writing and scheduling social media posts, interacting with social media followers, and managing other social media activities.
Brand ambassadors represent a brand as an expert on its product(s) or service(s). Other types of promotion include creating initiatives to further promote a brand, distributing brochures or flyers, organizing events to attract customers, and communicating with consumers to find out what their wants and needs are concerning a particular service or product.
Another perk of being a brand ambassador is that they are often given many free products and/or services from the brand they are promoting. They also may be given passes to exclusive VIP events or other functions that are fertile ground for networking.
