Motivated to ensure a full and productive life for their disabled adult children, a small group of determined parents created Pomona Valley Workshop (PVW) in 1966.
Best Foot Forward has been ahead of the curve in sustainability since 1997.
Anthesis was founded in 2000 from Komianos Georgios, Agronomist M.Sc. on Crop Protection, with main purpose to provide consulting services to Dutch companies which are involved in Propagation material, Hydroponic systems and Computer Greenhouse Control systems.
In 2004, Anthesis starts distributing floriculture propagation material and consulting growers in Greece.
Since establishing in 2013, Anthesis Group has grown to more than 800 experts, through organic growth and strategic acquisitions.
In April 2014, Anthesis Consulting Group acquired SecondNature Partnership, a team of leading sustainability strategists.
In November 2014, M4C, a leading and well respected sustainability communications and strategy practice, joined Anthesis to provide complementary professional capability to the team, as well as establishing a regional presence in the North West of England.
In February 2016, Anthesis announced the acquisition of Mosaic Sustainability.
In February 2019, Anthesis acquired impact-led innovation consultancy GoodBrand.
In February 2019, Anthesis joined forces with 200-strong sustainainability agency Lavola.
In December 2021, Anthesis acquired Provision Coalition Inc., a Canadian-based consultancy focused on the Agri-Food sector whose purpose is to help food and beverage companies grow by making food sustainably.
2021 is a milestone year as the Swiss Group Andermatt Biocontrol, a world leader in the production and marketing of organic plant protection products, has become the (a) Major Shareholder of Anthesis.
