Art was born and raised throughout the southern United States due to his father’s military service. He obtained a BS in Forestry from the University of Arkansas at Monticello and began work at Bearden Lumber Company in 1983 as a Forester. Art left the company in 1991 and worked primarily in southern Arkansas where he gained experience in forest management, timber procurement, and administration.

He returned to Anthony Timberlands, Inc (ATI) in the fall of 2017 and went on to assume the position of Procurement Forester for the Bearden mill. In 2020, Art was promoted to Chief Forester in charge of Logging and Timber Procurement. His responsibilities are to manage the raw materials required to operate the ATI facilities in Bearden, Malvern, Magnolia, Mt. Holly, and Beirne.

Rick was born and raised in south Arkansas and graduated from Henderson State University with a BSBA in Management and Marketing. In 1974, he began working for Bank of Bearden as the Vice President of Operations. In 1985, he joined Anthony Timberlands as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. His primary responsibilities at ATI and its affiliated companies include pine marketing and overseeing the company’s finance and accounting department. Additionally, he serves as the Chairman and President of Bank of Bearden, and President of Anthony Wood Treating.
