During 1992, company sales grew to $59.1 million, a 34.7 percent increase.

1993

Prices at Urban Outfitters stores during 1993 ranged from $.75 for greeting cards to $450 for a World War I-style leather bomber jacket.

2011

Starting out online only, BHLDN opened its first free-standing location in Houston, Texas, in August 2011.

2015

Captivated by the bustling Philadelphia food scene, URBN expanded their food and beverage presence with the acquisition of The Vetri Family Restaurant Group in 2015, which included an array of Italian restaurant concepts.

2018

In 2018, following an exposé of the mohair industry in South Africa, Anthropologie joined other fashion retailers in banning the sale of products that contained the goat-derived fur.

2019

In October 2019, Urban Outfitters revealed Anthropologie Home Outlet in Pittsburgh, which focuses only on home furnishings.

In 2019, Anthropologie launched a line of plus-size women's clothing.

2020

However, in 2020, Anthropologie became a target of protests when it ignored calls from PETA to ban the sale of items that are made with alpaca hair.

2021

In April 2021, Hillary Super stepped down as CEO of Anthropologie and Tricia D. Smith, a 26-year veteran of Nordstrom, took over as Anthropologie’s global CEO.
