Aoi Corporation company history timeline

1869

In the Genroku era (1688–1704) of the Edo period, it was brought back, but in the 2nd year of the Meiji period (1869), when the capital was moved from Kyoto to Tokyo, observance of the festival procession stopped once again.

1885

In Meiji-17 (1885), it was again revived as part of a government plan to enliven Kyoto.

1944

In 1944, as a result of World War II, all events and processions except for the rituals at the shrine fronts were discontinued.

1973

Aoi Electronics Co., Ltd. launched microphone production in 1973 and has been supplying electronic components and audio equipment to discerning end users for over 40 years.

1986

Aoi Electronics started a second production line in China in 1986 and has been producing in China for over 30 years.
