Kelly, also known as KC, is an industrial engineer at heart. With a background in consulting for Accenture, Kelly loves to redesign processes and create software automation to maximize efficiency and effectiveness. She graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2000 with a B.S. in Industrial Engineering & Management and in 2005 with a M.S. in Engineering & Technology Management. Kelly and her husband, Brian, live in a small mountain town in Colorado. They enjoy skiing / snowboarding, hiking, snowshoeing and paddle boarding.

Pete has more than 40 years of executive leadership experience in the HR Outsourcing field. He has been the CFO, COO, and CEO of industry market leaders. He has started/sold companies and pioneered a service delivery concept that resulted in operating more than 100 service centers across the globe. Pete started his career in public accounting and is a CPA. He has served 35 years in evangelical church leadership and is currently serving in a multi-ethnic church plant in Irving, Texas. Pete has been married since 1973 to his college sweetheart, and together they enjoy coastal sailing in Southern California. They have two adult daughters, three grandchildren, foster grandchildren, and a grand-dog that looks like a panda. Pete enjoys teaching Financial Peace University and Stewardship.

Sommer has 17 years of experience in both financial consulting and non-profit management. Before joining Apartment Life, Sommer spent a decade developing, growing and leading a global finance department for an organization serving the orphaned and vulnerable children of Zambia, Africa.

She has a BBA in Accounting and an MBA from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. She received her Texas CPA license in 2009, started her career with Protiviti Inc., and previously worked as an Adjunct Professor at DBU.

Free time for Sommer includes her daughters' activities, Rangers baseball, traveling, and planning her next vacation.
