Position Summary: The Junior Racking Installer plays a vital role in our installation team, assisting in the assembly and installation of pallet racking and material handling equipment. Overview
TRC is seeking a Water and Wastewater Senior Civil Project Engineer/Project Manager to join our Engineering, Construction, and Remediation team in either the Durango, CO or Lakewood, CO offices. This career-oriented position requires providing operational, permitting, compliance, design, and construction services to a wide variety of clients. Our engineering staff provide engineering design and technical support on challenging projects including water and wastewater municipal infrastructure, site design and land development, State and local roadways, renewable energy development, solid waste management, and environmental assessment and remediation. In this position, the successful candidate will apply their existing knowledge and develop new skills while working as part of a dynamic and fast-paced team. Assisting clients as they comply with various environmental regulations and addressing their permitting challenges by working with project teams to perform analyses and to develop and implement plans, designs, and specifications. The ideal candidate has experience executing and preparing design deliverables as well as experience with project and task management. A desire to work with internal business development professionals and senior managers to establish and grow a sustainable client base is required.
Responsibilities
* Conduct technical analyses to support planning, development, permitting and design of water, wastewater, and stormwater systems
* Design water, wastewater, and stormwater systems adapted for specific municipal and private development sectors in accordance with applicable local, state, or federal regulations
* Perform civil/site design and planning to support a wide variety of land development projects
* Prepare grading and erosion and sedimentation control plans
* Prepare technical design reports, compliance reports and permit application packages
* Attend and present project designs and applications at various Planning Board/AHJ meetings
* Prepare construction and industrial Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans
* Design and assist with implementation of site remediation measures
* Work with designers and permitting specialists to prepare civil site design packages for a wide variety of projects supporting private developers, commercial/industrial facilities, and municipal infrastructure that comply with applicable local, state and federal regulations
* Manage tasks and delegate tasks to junior level staff
* Ability to prepare and manage budgets, schedules, invoicing, subcontractor procurement and oversight
* Manage the work performance for multiple dynamic projects, develop solutions to project challenges, and communicate proactively with senior staff
* Execute fieldwork and contractor oversight to support collecting environmental data and perform construction quality assurance
* Assist clients in addressing their project development challenges and goals by working with project teams across multiple disciplines to perform site-specific analyses and assessments
* Strong technical writing and data management, organizational, and communication skills
* Apply quality assurance and quality control procedures
* Ability to make decisions and perform as an independent thinker and leader, but also collaborate with project team personnel
* Work directly with clients professionally and display a service-oriented attitude
* Willingness to build a sustaining practice and engage in business development efforts including being active in professional organizations

Qualifications
* A minimum of 10 to 12 years' experience with Colorado PE licensure, or ability to acquire within 3 months
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
* Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D software
* Proficiency with HydroCAD or other infrastructure modeling/hydrology software
* Experience with the development and implementation of infrastructure technical plans, designs, and specifications
* Experience independently analyzing and interpreting data regarding site uses and topography to develop infrastructure management plans and best management practices
* A strong understanding of local, state, and federal level permitting for a variety of development types including State (CO) infrastructure permitting and town/city site plan review applications
* Client service skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Position Requirements:
* OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification, including current refresher training, or ability to obtain within 12 months
* Experience performing engineer's estimates of probable cost estimates for infrastructure, and land development activities utilizing both RS Means and contractor contacts
* Experience developing Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP)
* Experience performing construction monitoring and oversight

General Responsibilities: The ideal candidate for this position is passionate about protecting public health and the environment, curious about the construction of building systems, and is eager to acquire the necessary certifications for asbestos and lead inspections. This individual will perform building inspections, conduct abatement oversight, and will assist staff and project managers with industrial hygiene projects as part of due diligence, or in anticipation of renovation or demolition activities at a site.
The individual selected for this position will spend the majority of their time performing asbestos, lead paint, and regulated building material inspections. Job duties necessary for this work includes collection of field documentation, collection of bulk samples, review of laboratory documents, and data reporting. The candidate will be responsible for oversight during asbestos abatement, which includes contractor interaction, operation of field air monitoring equipment, collection of daily field documentation, and on-site analysis of air samples by Phase Contrast Microscopy (PCM).
Industrial hygiene inspections may include noise surveys, radon testing, mold and moisture evaluations, and/or other sampling monitoring such as silica, metals, lead, and data reporting.
Although the primary focus of this position will be to perform industrial hygiene and asbestos work, opportunities to assist with other tasks within the Environmental Department may arise, including: performing Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, or field work involving evaluation and sampling of environmental media which often include air, groundwater, sediment, and soil.
The candidate will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining field monitoring equipment and company vehicles. Candidate will be required to adhere to strict company health and safety standards.

We are seeking a Director of Architecture - Operational Technology (OT) Solutions to lead the architectural design and delivery of Operational Technology (OT) solutions in the utility sector, including electric, gas, and water utilities. This role is responsible for defining end-to-end OT solution architecture, aligning with enterprise IT/OT strategies, and overseeing delivery across complex, multi-disciplinary, multi-workstream programs involving SCADA, ADMS, DERMS, AMI, EMS, and other critical infrastructure systems.

Responsibilities
Architecture & Strategy

Anticipated duration will be from June through August 2026 (flexible). This position has the potential to transition into a Full-Time role upon graduation. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Project Managers and Team Leaders and partner with engineers, scientists, and technologists.
Responsibilities
* Support various project tasks including regulatory requirements/review estimates, research, procurement support, etc.
* Assisting substations engineers in design work and project calculations
* Perform data entry, data management, data evaluation, and data presentation
* Support the preparation of reports, plans and specifications for client
* May work on field assignments as needed
* Work closely with the engineering staff to support ongoing projects in the discipline of Substation Engineering and Protection & Control Engineering. * Prepares work scope, proposals and reports and plans investigations for approval by senior level professionals.
* May supervise field staff including graduate/field engineers, engineering technicians, exploration teams, laboratory staff and other support personnel.
* Interacts with client and project team in developing scope of services and communicating project progress.
* Works under the supervision of a Professional Engineer and a Terracon Authorized Project Reviewer.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
* Minimum 1-3 years' experience.
* Master's degree in Engineering preferred.
* Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history.
* Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Engineering Intern (EI) required.

This is a paid full-time position. Anticipated duration will be from June through August 2026 (flexible). This position has the potential to transition into a Full-Time role upon graduation. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Project Managers and Team Leaders and partner with engineers, scientists, and technologists.
Responsibilities
* Learn and shadow Operational Technology (OT) projects focused on control systems such as Advanced Distribution Management Systems (ADMS), Energy Management Systems (EMS), Outage Management Systems (OMS), and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) in support of the current Electric Transmission and Distribution grid operations in North America
* Support various project tasks including OT requirements gathering, business process reviews
* Perform SCADA data entry, and data evaluation

Qualifications
