Thomas Amato is President & CEO of TriMas Corporation, a publicly traded (NASDAQ: TRS) diversified industrial manufacturer of engineered products for the consumer goods, aerospace, compressed air, and oil & gas end markets, collectively with appx. $1 billion in revenue. Prior to this, he was CEO & President of Metaldyne, a $1.2 billion manufacturer of highly engineered products for the global light vehicle and truck markets, and co-President & Officer of Metaldyne Performance Group, a publicly traded (NYSE: MPG) automotive, industrial, and truck products supplier with $3 billion in revenue. Under Amato’s leadership of Metaldyne, the company was extensively transformed, significantly increased in revenues and earnings, and sold and/or merged three times in six years, generating exceptional returns for principal shareholders, including The Carlyle Group, and subsequently American Securities Partners. This activity ultimately led to an IPO of MPG in December of 2014, with Metaldyne as a key catalyst to MPG's IPO given its Tier 1 position, process diversity, and global breadth. Amato continued in the role of CEO of Metaldyne but also led the integration of MPG through 2015.

David graduated with a B.A. from The George Washington University where he interned at National Public Radio. After working for Public Television for several years, first in the home office in Alexandria, VA, then for Channels 10&36 in Milwaukee, David worked in the computer software sales field for a short time before joining Altek Company in 1992. While working at Altek, David supplemented his business knowledge in the MBA program at the University of Hartford. David has held several key positions including leading administration, IT, materials and customer service. In 2003 David was promoted to Vice President of Finance and Administration. David played a key role in facilitating the company’s move to our current location, and has the sales responsibility for one of Altek’s largest customers.
