It serves U.S. Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Department of Agriculture, U.S. Census Bureau, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Department of Defense, U.S. Department of Energy, internal revenue services, and the U.S. Navy. It was formerly known as ITS Services, Inc. and changed its name to Apogen Technologies, Inc. in 2004. The company was founded in 1991 and is based in McLean, Virginia. As of August 1, 2005, Apogen Technologies, Inc. operates as a subsidiary of QinetiQ North America, Inc.
